BOSTON, MA - Douglas Marr of Keliher Real Estate, Inc. and Michael Carucci of ERA Boston Real Estate Group have sold a five story, 5,300 s/f brick building at 125 Charles Street, Beacon Hill for $1.48 million. The building is zoned commercial/residential and was delivered vacant. The seller was 125 Charles Street Trust LLC and the buyer is J. Realty Trust. The new owner is converting the building into two retail condos and three residential units. The building will be completely gutted and renovated. Completion is targeted for fall 2008.

European and Asian investors are snapping up properties across Boston, including on toney Newbury Street, drawn in part by a weak U.S. dollar.
